At 6 pm Santa will ride in on a fire engine to officially light the Downtown DeLand Christmas tree at Pioneer Park (corner of E. Rich Ave. & N. Woodland Blvd.). He’ll stick around until 8 pm for pictures and to hear what the children of DeLand want for Christmas. Enjoy the festive sounds of carolers and a coloring activity for the kids. Get some holiday shopping taken care of and support our local economy. Give the gift of ‘Local’ this year.

Journey thru Christmas
December 6-7 & 13-14
Journey thru Christmas engages its audience with live animals and over 100 cast members. Guests will be taken on a walk thru the life of Christ from the prophecy of His coming, to His birth, life, death, and glorious resurrection. Each child who attends will receive a candy filled Christmas stocking.  Everyone can enjoy homemade cookies and hot chocolate after their journey has ended. Doors open at 6:00 each night, and we will stop taking names for tours at 8:30.

There will be a Northern Lights Christmas at The Casements in Ormond Beach on December 6, 2019, starting at 6 pm. This is a free event and open to all. Stop by for holiday fun, including train rides, entertainment, crafts and more.

The DeBary Christmas Parade will take place on December 8, 2019 at 3 pm.
The DeBary Christmas tree lighting ceremony will take place on December 7, 2019 from 2-6 pm at the Gateway Center for the Arts, located at 880 N. Highway 17-92 in DeBary. Free family activities, including a picture with Santa. Food and Drink for purchase provided by DeBary Babe Ruth. $1 to sample all the Chili a  he Chili Cook Off. Santa’s North Pole in Deltona
December 7 & 8
Visit Santa’s North Pole on December 7-8, 2019 from 2-6 pm. This will be held at Deltona City Hall, located at 2345 Providence Blvd. There will be pictures with Santa, face painting, candy, and food.
Families can bring their camera and take their own picture with Santa or have a Walgreen’s photographer take a family photo. Each family will be given a free 4-inch by 6-inch print at the event and receive information about purchasing other prints.

Sunday Snow Day at One Daytona
One Daytona will be hosting Sunday Snow Day events in December 2019.
These are free family friendly events that will be held on December 1, 8, 15,and 22. There will be special guests at each event.
Tis’ the season! Come out to ONE DAYTONA in Daytona Beach for Sunday Snow Day.
Enjoy the Polar Express Train, Real Snow Play Area, and giant snow slides for all ages!

Walk Through Bethlehem in Daytona Beach
December 13, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21, & 22   6:00 –9:00 PM
Walk Through Bethlehem will take place at Cross Roads Ministries at 1851 S Clyde Morris in Daytona Beach. The 2019 dates for it will be December 13, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21, & 22. Each of those nights it is held from 6-9 pm. This is an outdoor event, and due to large crowd there may be await time of 45-60 minutes to go on the tour. This is free and suitable for all ages.

Drive Through Bethlehem in Daytona Beach Shores

Load up the car and come experience the sights and sounds of the village of Bethlehem! Witness the nativity where Jesus was born! See the animals in the manger scene. Make sure you visit the baker in the marketplace for a homemade treat! This event is FREE for our friends in the community and runs nightly 12/13-15/2019 from 6-8:30 pm.

Welcoming Hearts is having a Applebee’s Flapjack Fundraiser, on Saturday,December 14, 2019 from 8:00 am – 10:00 am. Tickets are only $7.00 for adults and children 3+, children under 3 are free. Tickets includes 3 pancakes, 2 sausages, beverage (choice of coffee, tea, soda, water or juice) and have your picture taken with Santa. A souvenir 4×6 picture will be printed on site.

The parade’s theme is “Candyland Christmas” and will be led by the University High School JROTC and will feature Parade Grand Marshal River Springs Middle School Principal Stacy Gotlib, Orange City Council Members, local businesses and organizations, local schools and of course FLOATS, CANDY & FUN! The parade will be along Volusia Ave, starting at French Ave, ending at Ohio Ave.

Mistletoe and Music

Mistletoe & Music is set to become a signature holiday event in DeLand. The 3rd annual event is scheduled for December 9th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. The Amphitheater lawn in Earl Brown Park will be surrounded by local vendors selling holiday gifts and delicious food trucks. The DeLand High’s Choir will open the show for our headliner The Buzzcatz. The event is FREE to attend and all are welcome.

You are invited to join us at our Holiday Open House at the Eldora House in Canaveral National Seashore. Enjoy holiday spirit, refreshments and the”swimming” of the turtles at 3 pm. Big Red’s Holiday Extravaganza in Osteen

There will be music, food and shopping! Save your Christmas list and buy from local vendors!
The activity wrist bands $10 pony rides, train rides, petting farm, bounce house, visit with Santa and more $15 includes the brand-new inflatable zip line Up to 175 lbs (under 18 please). Adults are free. This is a fundraiser for Big Red Ranch and Rescue, a 501c3, and donations are appreciated.
